On Saturday, September 18, 2004, 89 year old Lt. Col. Eugene Cheatham achieved the rank of Eagle at the San Diego Aerospace Museum in Balboa Park. This was a historic moment in Scouting, because no Scout beyond his 18th birthday has ever been allowed to receive the Eagle rank. Troop 680, in conjunction with Brian O'Keefe and his father Bob O'Keefe, hosted this event with 24 of our Scouts participating in the Eagle ceremony. Click on the picture to enlarge it.
