Camp Pendelton Bike Ride
One beautiful Saturday morning, in the middle of June, the Boy Scout Troop 680, packed a multitude of bikes into a trailer and traveled to Camp Pendelton. We arrived at our campsite on the coast, and set up camp. Heading out to ride 25 miles we were all pumped up and excited. After 10 miles of pedaling our hearts out, we stopped for lunch at a great place. We observed a training ground and marveled at the nuclear power plant. After a tedious yet exuberating ride we played games on the beach. We alternated between volleyball, football and just messing around. Later that night we played cards with M&Ms. Finally we fell asleep. When we woke up bright and early we packed up, said adieus and left with many fond memories. So there ends another Troop 680 outing.
