This is the best hike the troop has!!! I've never done the whole thing but just San Gorgonio was so fun. In a nutshell, we climb like 6000 feet in a couple miles an then go up the highest mountain in southern California and then over the course of a 3 day weekend climb nine other peaks in the immediate area and descend the same trail we entered from. Its incredibly hard because of the altitude and elevation and mileage, there's so many peaks to climb and you're already tired but its worth it because this is the biggest accomplishment you can have in southern California hiking.

For the trip planned for labor day weekend 2000 there will be three tiers. None will be particularly easy although interested scouts should inquire about the first tier later in the summer as it may become a beginner hike. The second tier will include san gorgonio and several of the nine peaks but not all and the their tier will be the full nin peaks from vivian creek trip.
